Today there are many people who find ourselves with small spaces at home, which sometimes forces us to make decisions such as, for example, that children share their room. It is also possible that the children themselves prefer to have the room together or that there is another room available but we want to give it another use such as a library, office, etc. Whatever the reason, it is important to properly organize shared rooms. Let's see what options we have.
The organization of the room will depend on the age of the children: if they are small they will need space to sleep and play, if they are a little older they will need to sleep, do their homework and play, and if they are older they will still need space to sleep and study, generally.
The biggest problem when organizing these rooms arises when choosing the beds, once that is done, the rest is much easier.
Double beds
- It is the most classic option, but also the one that takes up the most space, so it is not recommended if you want to make the most of space.
Trundle beds
- It consists of two beds, one stored under the other. The one below is easily removed thanks to the incorporation of wheels. When buying it, you must bear in mind that the space of the removable bed must be free and that the made bed can be stored. Otherwise you will have to remove everything that occupies the space of the bed when you go to take it out and you will have to remove / put the sheets every day.
Bunk beds
- Another classic option and in which you can find numerous varieties, from "the usual" to bunk beds that incorporate drawers, shelves and even desks. The downside: you may find it uncomfortable to make the top bed.
Beds in height
- Something totally innovative: These are quite high beds, very similar to bunk beds, but that incorporate cabinets, drawers or desks with a totally charming and youthful design.
