Decorate the terrace or garden for a dinner with friends

In good weather, you want to have dinner with friends or family from time to time on the terrace or in the gardenn. If we want to make it a special occasion we can decorate the table and the surroundings with a few simple elements.

To decorate the table We can start by choosing the tablecloth, if the surface on which you are going to eat is made of wood or with a beautiful glass design, it is best to use runners combined with individual tablecloths so that the table can be appreciated in some areas. On the other hand, if we are going to use a plastic table or a board on borriquetas, it is best to place a large tablecloth that covers it completely, and preferably that hangs a lot on the sides.

If we want everything to be perfect, the best thing is that both the crockery, the glassware and the tablecloths are well combined, either with colors from the same range such as white, or by contrasting two opposite colors such as white and black, pink and white, orange and purple, etc. The advantage of the hot time of year is that it allows bold color combinations. If we want to be in accordance with the latest trends, we can use turquoise and green tones combined with white, which are the ones that are in fashion this summer.

For the rest of the space we can use paper lanterns, garlands, candles and flowers in makeshift vases. We will only have to place some elements on the table suspended in the air, but at a height where they do not disturb if the guests are standing, such as paper garlands, and some small vases with flowers on the table.

If it is a dinner at the end of the afternoon, you must also take into account the lighting, which can be one of the most decorative factors. The garlands of lights can create a perfect atmosphere combined with large candles distributed along the table. We can also place lanterns or torches in the surroundings to create a cozy atmosphere.
