It is not the first time that we talk about chevron print, named for the repetition of the heraldic symbol chevron. A motif that is more familiar to us to call zig-zag and that like all trends, has periods of greater and lesser relevance in the world of decoration.
Due to its repetitive pattern, it is a striking motif and as such should be used sparingly. We can create a nice effect in the bedroom painting or wallpapering the main wall with this motif and using one of the colors used in the rest, to create a certain continuity.
The chevron print can be fun, modern or stylish. The final result will depend on both the pattern and the colors we use. A compact line pattern in bright colors can be a great addition to a children's room; while an adult and elegant space will require more sober and discreet lines.
If you are looking for a suitable pattern to decorate the main room with an elegant and classic way, bet on discreet color combinations, of the same range. Grays, beiges and toasted ranges are usually the most common colors for this type of space. The latter, combines perfectly with gold and yellow; colors that can give life to the bedroom applied in small details.
Looking for something more modern? I bet you slightly modified chevron patterns in pastel tones and combine them with bedding in shades of gray. I love the proposal of the first image in that sense, it is sober and modern. Very fine patterns in darker tones, combined with white, will also fit perfectly in this type of space.
Regarding the children's rooms.. If you want to decorate one of them with this type of pattern, don't limit yourself! You can use bright colors to create a fun space by using both symmetrical and asymmetrical lines with greater and lesser thickness. Do you like this type of pattern or do you prefer smooth walls?
